Notice of Annual Meeting of Members 2019

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that an annual and special meeting of the Members of the Corporation will be held at Community Door Brampton, 7700 Hurontario St, Brampton ON L6Y 4M3, on the 11^th  day of October 2019 at 6:00pm and at any adjournment or adjournments thereof, for the following purposes:

1. To receive and consider the audited financial statements of the Corporation for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2019 together with the report of the auditor thereon;
2. To ratify the previous appointment of directors by the Board of Directors to fill vacancies in the Board of Directors for terms ending at the close of this Annual and Special Meeting of Members;
3. to elect Directors;
4. To appoint the auditor of the Corporation and to authorise the Directors to fix the remuneration of the auditor; and
5. To transact such further or other business as may properly come before the meeting or any adjournment or adjournments thereof.

Special Business

6. To consider and, if thought advisable, to pass, with or without amendment, a Resolution confirming By-law Number 1-2019, a by-law relating generally to the transaction of the business and affairs of the Corporation, as the new general by-law of the Corporation and repealing all prior by-laws of the Corporation;
7. To consider and, if thought advisable, to pass, with or without amendment, a Special Resolution confirming By-law Number 2-2019, a borrowing by-law of the Corporation;
8. To consider and, if thought advisable, to pass, with or without amendment, a Special Resolution confirming By-law Number 3-2019, a by-law of the Corporation providing for the distribution of its assets upon a dissolution; and
9. To consider and, if thought advisable, to pass, with or without amendment, a Special Resolution fixing the number of directors within the minimum and maximum of directors at SEVEN (7) directors.

*Only Members in good standing for 30 days prior to Annual General Meeting and not expired yearly memberships will be invited to vote on business during the AGM*
