Across Ontario and beyond - women are increasingly incarcerated as social and health disparities grow. Once incarcerated, women are isolated from their communities, families, and supports. We know that Black, Brown, Indigenous, Trans women and non-Binary femme people are disproportionately incarcerated - and face real struggles as the result of racism and oppression.
