Rest as Resistance: Healthy Bodies and Black Liberation

Come join us for an empowering event where we explore the intersection of rest, health, and Black liberation. This event will delve into the importance of self-care and rest as acts of resistance in the fight for liberation. By creating a space for dialog, reflection, education, and community connection, we aim to cultivate a space where Black individuals can prioritize their well-being and reclaim their power. We aim to highlight the historical and contemporary significance of rest in the African, Black, and Caribbean (ACB) community and inspire attendees to incorporate rest into their lives as a means of fostering resilience and holistic health.
