Historically, the month of June has been recognized as Pride month to commemorate the Stonewall riots. Although it has been celebrated for more than 50 years, June was officially declared Pride month in 2000.
Pride in Brampton is a celebration of people coming together in love and friendship, to show how far the rights have come, and how in some places there’s still work to be done. We are a city committed to addressing the unique challenges that face the community as a result of their intersectional identities, and champions to creating safe and inclusive space for Pride to be celebrated.
Come out and celebrate Brampton's vibrant LGBTTIQQ2SA communities through art, performance, and programming for all ages.
