Brampton Celebrates Pride

June 1, 2025

at

1:00 pm

Historically, the month of June has been recognized as Pride month to commemorate the Stonewall riots. Although it has been celebrated for more than 50 years, June was officially declared Pride month in 2000.

Pride in Brampton is a celebration of people coming together in love and friendship, to show how far the rights have come, and how in some places there’s still work to be done. We are a city committed to addressing the unique challenges that face the community as a result of their intersectional identities, and champions to creating safe and inclusive space for Pride to be celebrated.

Come out and celebrate Brampton's vibrant LGBTTIQQ2SA communities through art, performance, and programming for all ages. Discover the organizations serving the community in Brampton, and support LGBTTIQQ2SA small business owners by shopping the vendor market. Top off your day with a meal from one of the participating downtown Brampton restaurants offering exclusive Pride promotions.

Celebrate Pride across Brampton all month long!

Residents can enjoy Pride-themed programs and events taking place throughout Brampton with Brampton Library, Peel Art Gallery Museum and Archives (PAMA) and Brampton Arts Organization (BAO).
